WHO WE ARE

A 501c3 nonprofit organization established to provide support to individuals with disabilities and their families. Our goal is to bring awareness to concerns within the special needs community and create opportunities for participants to discover their purpose and live abundantly.

WHAT WE DO

RESPITE

Respite is the number one need of families of individuals with disabilities. This type of care provides a break for parents, guardians, caregivers, and other family members. Our respite events also provide opportunities for socialization with disabled and non disabled peers.

EDUCATION & ENGAGEMENT

Not many are aware of the lack of resources in our area for the special needs population. The OPAL Project Inc. focuses on hosting events to bring awareness to the community and provide assistance to families and caregivers through educational opportunities and support groups.

VOCATIONAL TRAINING

One of the main goals of The OPAL Project Inc. is to help individuals with disabilities discover their purpose after graduating high school. Our participants can explore different employment opportunities within the community and learn valuable job skills.
